Hey everyone,
My name is Chris; I’m the founder of Rome4Love.
How’d I get the name Rome4Love? I get this a lot so I guess we can start there. The '4Love' part is self-explanatory. How did I come up with Rome? People ask me,
“Shouldn’t it be Roam4Love”?
I’m Italian, and Rome is one of the most romantic cities in the world. That pretty much is the entire reasoning behind the name. But as a side note we’re also setting up Roam4love.com as well.
When I began to create Rome4Love many people started to ask me, why bother? There are already so many sites out there that our doing the same thing. Well, if something isn’t working then it needs to be fixed. Some major issues with the other dating sites are:
We’re more than a date website, or online personals. We’re an online community. We’re putting a ‘personal’ experience back into personals. When you join our site you’re not just left of there to fend for yourself. We started DateAssist, an online dating first. If you have questions before a big date or even afterwards, you can submit your DA request to our staff members for help, Free. To take it another step further, we also offer the ability to blog to the community. And your also able to submit your blog for a staff response. These are just a few of the community features that you will find on Rome4Love.
What did I mean by, “The perspective of matching criteria is off”
Other sites focus on how other people can complete you. What the other person can offer to make you feel loved and wanted. Well, this is not how you can find true love. When you can find yourself, you find love. When you find your complement in life, you're building the love you already have. Love that is not dependant on each other, but builds and grows each other. The focus of our matching is driven not only by your personality, but by your likes, experiences and goals in life. Rather than other people’s likes and dislikes.

Yes, we’re a new site starting to build its base, but the science and formula behind Rome4Love is unlike any other site out there. By joining Rome4Love you’re joining a community not a site.
